Author Notes
- Booklist Reviews : Booklist Reviews 2011 June #1
In the next to last novel of the Women of the Otherworld series, Armstrong brings together beloved characters from all the previous stories, reuniting them just in time to face a danger to the Otherworld that may change their lives forever. Savannah is still recovering from the events in Waking the Witch (2010), but she and Adam have little time to rest after she realizes that her witching powers have disappeared, possibly as a the result of an ill-timed wish, and that there is new threat in the form of a group, the Supernatural Liberation Movement, that not only has plenty of followers but also seems to involve demonic and celestial powers. Armstrong produces another engaging, fast-paced read that will thrill her devoted fans. Readers new to the series should start with one of the earlier novels, such as Bitten (2001), so as to fully appreciate everything that Armstrong brings together in this novel. A must for urban-fantasy and romance fans. Copyright 2011 Booklist Reviews.
Kelley Armstrong lives in rural southwestern Canada with her husband and three children.
